Absolutely amazing! I use mine daily to keep track of all sorts of temporary lists and notes. I had one from another company (letterforms) and Esquoia is definitely a superior product! The pens write clearly, there’s no smudging or transfer between pages and the pages don’t rub off when the book is closed. They erase cleanly every time. I love the ability to swap pages around and add in other types of pages, depending on my needs. This is a fabulous product! I’ve already bought a couple more as gifts! I highly recommend it!

Great notebook Especially for short term notes, which I make on a daily basis. Thus I save a lot of paper, and everything is organized. Small drawback: it takes some time to erase notes, however, this became like a small brake from other works!

The thin pen leaves marks even after erasing. After a couple of uses it is all scratched. And not the highest quality material. Would like it to be thicker paper. But the rest is nice! and the idea is great!

Got the product two weeks ago, love it! I bought other markers off of amazon and do not erase, instead requires water to be removed. These markers work wonderfully! I come off much easier than the ones provided however I do like the black original one as well.

After two months with my notebook, I am still thrilled! I use it for everything from a planner to scrap paper to taking notes, and I bring it everywhere I go. Even with very heavy use, it is holding up very well, and I don’t anticipate having to replace any parts for several more months.
I chose dot grid pages and am very pleased. The dots are light enough to ignore but still visible. They provide lines if I want to keep my writing straight and tidy, and have the perfect spacing to write within the grid. When I do want a grid or measurement system, they are there to provide that.
I delayed writing this review for two months so that I could talk about durability. I use my notebook constantly, and in general I am very happy with the quality. Some other reviews have mentioned the scratched or indented pages, and while some of my pages do not look like brand new, I find that they work perfectly well still. There is no change in writing, reading, or erasing on a page that has been previously used. (i.e., they maintain impressions of things written on them previously if you press down while you write, but it does not impact future use.)
The front cover does show some scratches since I put it in my bag with other materials frequently. This does not impact usability, but it would be nice if it did not scratch so easily.
My only real complaint is the pen holder. It wore out after about 2 weeks and became unusable. (Again, I was taking the pen out and putting it back 15+ times a day.) The top started to fray and it quickly fell apart enough that a pen could no longer go into it. However, this is not a big deal for me, and I just keep the marker elsewhere now.
The pages scan easily into a printer/copier/scanner, and this size is nice because two notebook pages can be put side-by-side and scanned as one standard 8.5″ x 11″ page.
As far as erasing goes, I carry a large artist’s eraser around with me and use it most of the time. The erasing tips on the markers work well for small areas but are tedious on larger ones, and the pencil eraser is perfect. If I leave the ink on for more than a week or two, it does dry enough to be difficult to get off. However, I have found that the scrubbing side of a slightly damp sponge works wonders.
Overall, I continue to be excited to use my Esquoia notebook every day, and I have enthusiastically recommended it to basically everyone I know.

The book is simply amazing! really good use for the everyday note. I am ok with the ‘paper’ thickness. I have some issues with the pen, that came with it. it has a delayed response time and when not in use for a few seconds it is not writing at all.

For me it was love at first touch and first letter. Smooth surface, easy to write on without your palm clinging to the paper. I added some “real” paper from an Atoma-Binder. This belgian binder paper fits neatly into the rings as it has the same dimensions. Now I have everything I need in one: Real-paper for the precious words to keep, whiteboard-paper for the rest to jot down. THIS is my one and only binder and everyday companion from now on…
