At last – my dream notebook. I like to take lots of notes in meetings, when reading articles etc etc. I also love to use post it notes. I collect actions using my post its. This notebook helps me do this so easily. The pages are thin like good quality paper. The pen supplied can be wiped off with a bit of force, but will not wipe off accidentally with your hand. Post its will stick nice and firmly to the pages. I use evernote to take pictures of the notes and post its as it is searchable by key word.
So now I have a book I can brainstorm with, share ideas with other, doodle etc. I can wipe off what I dont want then photograph the stuff I do want to keep and save in evernote. The pen I think might be important. Staedtler lumocolor correctable. They write very well with no smudging. I have no bought an a5 size book and a bigger one for my son who loves to write lists!
ps you can go to the copy website and buy spare pages so if you want a couple of blank and grid pages you can add them in. So well designed!

I got mine delivered today. Very good quality. I haven’t had the opportunity to take notes in any meetings yet which is what I bought it for. I did use it to take notes while making some phone calls and took a copy using my Evernote iPhone app. Worked brilliantly and as I have Evernote premium it is totally searchable. A big step towards my paperless goal. Only one small niggle is that the whole notebook is plain pages. I thought that I would get some lined pages. Not a big issue, I will just have to develop a more disciplined writing method to keep my lines straight.

Purchased for work as recently became visually impaired and needed a pad that I could write on in larger text, with a thicker pen.
Only criticism would be it would have been good to be able to store the dry wipe marker down the spine of the pad so it was always to hand! Still 5 stars as it was just what I was looking for.

I would really love to give this 5 stars as you’re a seriously great company, but I want to be honest as I’ve been looking forward to getting the notebook quite a lot.
First off, the lined pages are pretty bad. The lines are too prominent and somewhat thinly spaced. It looks a bit unprofessional. The clear pages are allright.
Secondly, I have to say I expected something a bit different as far as material goes. The pages are basically the thickness of a photo paper and the surface feels like a piece of laminated paper. That doesn’t sound too bad, but it feels very much different to write on than a whiteboard does. It’s not exactly bad, but I feel like I am carving a path in the surface with each stroke, even when I am not going on it overly heavy. It’s just too soft. I know it isn’t eraseable the way it is, but I have to say I’d much rather write on something a bit more plastic. The outside cover surface feels nice, something like that. Or to be more precise – do you know Oxford notebooks? Something like their cover material would be nice – and it’s eraseable too. Even if it was completely smooth, hard plastic would be more of a pleasure to write on. I write bad enough as it is and the feeling of the notebook just makes it even harder to write in a way that people could actually read. (Not to mention plastic like that would probably endure more manipulation with the pages as far as binding them goes)
I don’t want to bash you too much, the notebook does what you promise and I guess this is all very subjective. I am just saying it could be improved. I am happy with it overall, but it probably won’t replace paper for me by a longshot except for quick note taking.
Oh one more thing: The Staedtler Lumocolor Correctables – the blue one leaves smudges (Which can possibly be cleaned with something like alcohol). Red and black is fine. Just a note for potential customers.

Got these two in the mail today. First I have to say that customer support is excellent.
The product is also awesome. Works as expected, I’m having a lot of fun using it. I was surprised by how many pages you get in the set — the notebook is basically the thickness of any normal notebook. The markers glide on the surface, but not like on screen, so that makes for a perfectly suitable writing and drawing experience. You have to press a little harder to erase it than I expected. I gave the small one with lines to my girlfriend, and she’s very excited. The lines don’t seem to be too dark at all, like another review on here said. I would like to see the dots inner design in the future.
The quality of the product is not exactly at 100%, but the occasional tiny bumps, scratches etc are not bothering me the slightest. I don’t like the cover design to be honest, but that doesn’t matter much.

I really like this notebook. I have another dry erase notebook from a different company to compare the esquoia with. The perks of the esquoia are:
-removable pages that are easy to reinsert.
-totally opaque pages with no ‘bleed through’ effect.
-the option to use dot grid and graph sheets. (the dot grid is done very well, as the dots are barely visible similar to Rhodia dot grid.
-the paper seems to retain texture somehow so there is a bit of tactile feedback which I really like.
cons:
– the book is not hard-back so it’s a little floppy in certain applications.
Overall it’s a great book and I’m happy with my purchase.

I got the music version of this notebook to practice writing notation and to jot down fleeting musical ideas before transferring them to a computer. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. There are 8 staves per page (or 4 grand staves) with a large stave space. Both sides of each sheet are ruled, which is nice for longer works. My notebook came with a small holder to keep the pen, which is quite nice for writing on the go – just pull it out and start writing. Sometimes the pen doesn’t flow that well, but holding it upright and pressing a little more firmly gets it going again. It dries in about 5 seconds, then it is resistant to accidental brushing by your hand. Cleaning is really easy if you use a whiteboard cleaner. Planning to buy some more markers in other colors.

I bought the grid version to use for GMAT practice (the actual test uses a similar notebook) but since I am a notorious scribbler and doodler, I have a lot of use of it besides – I’m happy to say my paper consumption went down quite a bit since purchasing.
Some information for new buyers:
I recommend you watch the instructional videos!
-The fine tip pens can easily damage the pages if too much pressure is applied, but unless you’re like me and grip pens like the Hulk, it shouldn’t be a problem.
-Cleanup is very easy, even if you left the ink to dry for a few days. Blue pen takes a bit more effort to clean completely.
-Either write or cap – otherwise the pen will dry.
It’s a great product overall, exactly as described. Shipping is fast as well. I will probably make additional purchases in the future.

I had a small problem with my order, however, it was dealt with quickly with lots of contact. I love my notebook. I hate having messy notes so it’s great to be able to erase them, and move the pages around.

I really like the two notebooks (A4) I bought. Writing on them really does feel somewhat like writing on a board – smooth and sleek. It’s really useful for brainstorming for comp-sci.
The ink from the correctable pen (staedler) is stark and clear against the pages, and comes off relatively easily before it dries. After it dries, it’s harder to remove the ink. I still haven’t tried it with the Expo stray (I need to order a bottle), but I found that applying toothpaste to a damp paper towel takes off the ink quite well. (You do need to wipe it down with another wet paper towel to remove the residual toothpaste, and dry it with a towel or something after).
Some cons:
I’m a perfectionist, so the fact that some pages have dust trapped under the laminate (enough to be visible on some pages) bothers me. Thankfully, it’s only a few pages that have that, so I’ve moved them to the back of the notebook.
The grids on the grid-paper is a little small, but I still love using it nevertheless.
Tracking (for some reason) did not update when it entered Canada, so I was anxious for a week, when I didn’t have to be (but that’s NOT Esquoia’s problem, so much as it is a postal problem. I’m just posting it here so that other people don’t need to worry as I did).
Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the product. 🙂

If I don’t want that the ink fades in the slightest contact, it is possible to use indelible felt-tips (I used fine Lumocolor) and that fades also very well with a product for windows or of the disinfecting alcohol:)
The system of repositioning of sheets is just brilliant, with refillable packs and the choice of lines (or squared, white, and music) just perfect!
Maybe the choice will extend – til in time and the success of products.
It is what I wish the mark(brand). Proposal / question: a schedule(diary) week-to-a-page diary with daily schedules from 7 am till 7:00 pm?

I purchased this Esquoia notebook because I wanted to choose reuse over recycling. I’m not disappointed – this could be the last notebook I ever need to buy for work which is saving some trees and paper recycling year on year until I retire. There are some tricks – you need to keep the marker pen upright before you use it or it can take a minute to “warm up” but this is easy once you are used to it. The pages are easy to write on and the ink clears off really easily. I would recommend this to friends and some colleagues at work are already jealous!

I ordered an A4 notebook with music pages: what a fantastically useful book this is: I wish I had had one years ago! I find it very liberating in being able to move things around, erase what I don’t need and so on.
I do find that, at least for music, the fine point Lumocolor pens produce the best results.
I have ordered some extra lined and blank pages to insert amongst the music ones, when required. What’s not to love?
